We're dropped in media res into Team Venture's attempt to use a time machine to stop an Osiris cult from doing something horrible. Once the team gets trapped, Dr. Venture wriggles his way out of the pyramid and promptly forgets about his boys, as he's roped into a science vs. magic contest with Dr. Orpheus.
