Lent begins tomorrow. You don’t have to observe Lent, but it can be helpful to prepare your heart for Easter. One thing people often associate with Lent is fasting. Fasting is not unique to Christianity. However, there are spiritual purposes behind fasting that make it a worthwhile discipline for every believer. In Scripture, we see that fasting is often associated with feasting. It’s not just about abstaining from something!
