Suzy Benson is an inspiring coach, speaker, and facilitator who leads with passion, energy, and vision. Her mission is to help people become better leaders, find fulfillment in their work and live happier, healthier lives. Suzy founded and directed a non-profit-the African Promise Foundation - for 10 years. She then transferred her experience and skills to form African Promise Expeditions-an organization that takes people on leadership and personal development journeys to Uganda, Africa. In 2018, she and Houston Kraft collaborated and took a team of students on a two week expedition. In addition, Suzy operates a succesful coaching and leadership business, Suzy Benson Coaching. Suzy trained under Dr. Brené Brown to become a certified Dare to Lead™ facilitator. Suzy focuses on developing courage-building skills to help individuals, teams, and organizations develop emotional intelligence. Suzy is a certified teacher and spent 20 years in education. Suzy has a strong commitment to her clients and uses her gifts of empathy and compassion to connect deeply with them. Her optimism is infectious, and she conveys an empowered perspective on life. Suzy advocates for those without a voice and has a seemingly endless resource of energy, love, and compassion.
