The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS United States Congressman Elijah Cummings was buried this week after his death at the age of 68. Like the passing of many prominent black people, including Muhammad Ali and Dr. Maya Angelou, former U.S. president and Suspected Racist Bill Clinton was a guest speaker at Rep. Cummings's public memorial service. Speaking of the White House, current President Donald J. Trump was criticized for describing the impeachment inquiry as a metaphorical "lynching." In Chicago, Illinois teachers remain on strike for better teaching conditions for the city's hefty population of black students. In New Jersey, a pair of White students lobbed racist slurs and threw urine on a black child. Coincidentally, a report this week concluded that suicide rates are on the rise for black teens.
