Description

Keely Eure and Shotgun Spratling return to the USCfootball.com studio with a new episode of the Family Feud Podcast to assess the Trojans come-from-behind victory and discuss what to make of USC's first road win in nearly a year.
This week's Stock Up/Stock Down segment starts with the end and what proved to be the game-winner, Pittman, who continues to have a monster senior season both making an impact at receiver and on various special teams units. He's not the only wide receiver to make the list as the Trojans threw for more than 400 yards against the Buffaloes, breaking out a new formational look using five wide receivers to spread the Colorado defense out. Middle-of-the-field defenders John Houston Jr. and Briton Allen also are seeing their stock on the rise while Allen's rise sees Isaiah Pola-Mao on the flip side. One of Pola-Mao's issues, tackling, also makes another appearance on Stock Down, as does USC's offensive inconsistency and the full comprehension of the Trojans' defenders.
In 'Heard It On The Sidelines,' the feudsters take you behind the scenes and let you know about what they could see and hear from their sideline vantage point during the game, including Clay Helton furiously working the referees after a bad call and the positive results it netted, the impact of the altitude and a number of players trying to work their way back from injuries as well as two freshmen sharing a moment together. Keely talks about the unique challenges of Folsom Field as an on-field reporter and how the Trojan fans in attendance bolstered a tired and thin team in the fourth quarter. Plus, Shotgun and Keely discuss their travel adventures getting to and from Boulder with an Orange County-native's unbridled joy at the sight of snow.
This episode of the Family Feud Podcast concludes with the questions that you emailed (familyfeudpod@gmail.com) and tweeted to us. What's one big element that's different from last year? Did a player single-handedly save his coach? Are USC's blitzing techniques different? And lastly, when the Family Feud duo is asked a final question about tackling, they bring on special guest Taylor Mays for a quick appearance to discuss the differences from his days with Pete Carroll to now.
