A mysterious diary has been mailed to a prestigious medical journalist, it's contents, if true, are shocking. The subject suffers from a strange disorder that causes her to see a grotesque figure she names The Charred Man.

Is the subject just a victim of her own hallucinations or is the Charred Man real?
