Arthur Shawcross was an American serial killer who was given the moniker of "The Genesee River Killer" among many others. The stories that he would tell would be so fantastic that it is hard to separate fact from fiction. What we do know, though, is that the murders that Shawcross committed rank up there with some of the most horrific ever on record. Shawcross had two different chapters in his life. He was incarcerated in the early 1970s for committing some very brutal murders. Somehow he was paroled in the 1980s which allowed him to embark on another murder spree. In this first episode of Arthur Shawcross, Mike and Gibby talk about Arthur's early formative years and how they may have influenced his murderous ways.
