Description

Here we go again! The Ramble's back for your aural delectation! To kick us off this week, Manchester United slip up on the south coast much to Brighton's delight, and Chelsea squeak past a profligate Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.Elsewhere in the Premier League Watford pick up a lovely result at Burnley, Spurs ease past Fulham, and Luke is particularly animated about West Ham's defending (or lack of it), something that would have undoubtedly won the award for most pathetic backline display of the weekend, had Steve McClaren not got his greasy mitts all over QPR.There's also time for more WhatsApp goodness, a Fort William FC update and some Big Neville Southall-related activity into the bargain. Yes, sir!***Please take the time to rate and review us on iTunes or wherever you get your pods. It means a great deal to the show and will make it easier for other potential listeners to find us. Thanks!***Further reading:Jose Mourinho gets a vote of confidence: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/aug/20/jose-mourinho-manchester-united-backing-brightonSean Dyche is (rightly) fuming about Will Hughes' loose approach to tackling: http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11708/11476635/burnley-manager-sean-dyche-believes-will-hughes-should-have-been-sent-offSteve McClaren is gutted about QPR being abysmal: http://www.kilburntimes.co.uk/sport/football/queens-park-rangers/qpr-west-brom-mcclaren-review-shocked-angered-7-1-1-5658613  For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy

In 2007, The Football Ramble was born out of Luke Moore, Pete Donaldson, Marcus Speller and Jim Campbell’s passion for the most popular sport in the world—as well as a shared inability to take themselves too seriously. Since then, the boys have come a very long way: from a best-selling book to sold out live shows. Now, with the return of football post-lockdown, the Football Ramble brings you daily episodes of equal parts insight and hilarity. All this and more, Monday through Saturday. Lend us your ears and we’ll keep you up to date with the latest stories from the Premier League and all around Europe, all with an eye for both the sublime and the ridiculous.
