In addition to being an author of fantasy fiction and mainstream fiction, John has also worked as a documentary film writer and is currently a senior lecturer in English and creative writing at Yale University. His best-known novels, “Little Big” and the “Ægypt Cycle”, revolve around the themes of Hermeticism, memory, family and religion.
