Dr. Vicki Caruana is a professor of education currently at Regis University in Colorado who has written a variety of books to educate and encourage educators to strive for excellence. Her book, Recess for Teachers: Taking Time out for your Body, Mind, and Soul, is available to help teachers find rest and balance in their lives. Kevin Parr is a 4th grade teacher at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School in Wenatchee, Washington. A 2014 ASCD Emerging Leader, he is also a regular guest blogger for the Whole Child Blog and Inservice. Nancy Flanagan is a retired teacher, with 31 years as a K-12 Music specialist in the Hartland, Michigan schools. Flanagan is co-founder of the Network of Michigan Educators and her blog, Teacher in a Strange Land/Edutopia.
