Heidi Hayes Jacobs and Marie Hubley Alcock are the co-authors of Bold Moves for Schools: How We Create Remarkable Learning Environments(ASCD). Jacobs is founder and president of Curriculum Designers, helping schools, organizations and agencies to create modern learning environments, upgrade curriculum and support teaching strategies to meet the needs of contemporary learners. Alcock is president of education consulting company Learning Systems Associates and founder of Tomorrow’s Education Network, a nonprofit association dedicated to improving literacy development. Host Chaunte Garrett is the director of accountability for the Rowan-Salisbury school system in North Carolina, an education consultant, and an ASCD Emerging Leader.
