Description
Oh yeah we want it beautiful, but HEALTHY too! A healthy home is so important not only to avoid germs, but moreover for the functioning of your house. Listen in for lots of great tips & advice.
Yvonne uses organic Thieves from Young Living to clean all her surfaces. Have you tried it? Have a look HERE (http://loveofhome.net/how-to-save-money-on-your-spring-cleaning/) to learn all about it.
Use only stainless steel or cast iron pots & pans. Non-stick releases fumes & can chip off into your food. Kelly uses this All Clad pan - see HERE (http://amzn.to/2EXxFXS).
Add a plant or one every 100 square feet as per Nasa!
Try micro-fiber cloths. They hold the dirt rather than pushing it around. Get a set HERE (http://amzn.to/2EFSp6Q).
Forego the scented dryer sheets for organic wool dryer balls. Get some HERE (http://amzn.to/2sGdfh5).
Or make your own with Yvonne's tutorial. Get the steps HERE (http://www.stonegableblog.com/easy-make-dryer-balls/).
Put changing your house filters in your calendar for at least every 6 months - every 3 if you are feeling up to it.
Wipe down all door knob, handles, cell phones and any objects that get lots of touches to avoid spreading germs. For a real thorough clean use a mixture of bleach & water.
If you succumb to a cold or the flu or just because it is SO good, make a big pot of Yvonne's chicken soup. Get the recipe HERE (http://www.stonegableblog.com/how-to-make-perfect-chicken-noodle-soup/).
