The cover-up and hiding began then and continue today in our own lives when we lie and hide, and ultimately remain trapped in the prison of our Pit and pain. The irony is that the church is supposed to be a place of truth where believers walk in the light, yet it is filled with the hypocrisy of people lying and hiding, afraid to step into the light because they know that they will be judged.
