Annie Dean and Anna Auerbach believe the leadership pipeline is broken and that having flexible work opportunities for ambitious women would be the way to fix it. After both of their high achieving careers (Annie is a lawyer and Anna a consultant who then worked in the nonprofit sector) they started their own company, Werk, with the aim of helping women stay in the workforce and not opt-out when they become mothers.
