About this ebook

Autoimmunity Europe, in partnership with J. King, gained widespread recognition for the ground-breaking discoveries in autoimmune diseases. They authored a book on the subject, emphasizing that a key part of recovering from autoimmune disorders is achieving mental well-being. Renowned for his expertise in fostering mental soundness, it made perfect sense to create a version of the book tailored for those without autoimmune conditions, enabling everyone to benefit from his insights. The core content is the same as the Autoimmune J King Method, so there’s no need to buy both. However, you could gift it or recommend it to others who don’t have an autoimmune condition but are still striving to achieve ultimate happiness, as it focuses on the Mental Cleansing chapter and doesn’t cover the other tools related to autoimmune disorders. At readers' request, starting in 2025, the books will also be available in Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Arabic, and Hindi.

    FROM THE AUTHOR

The findings can benefit anyone who embraces them, and we are sure the happiness described here represents the ultimate form of happiness available to everyone. However, this is a personal view of happiness, through the lens of psychological, moral, spiritual and emotional dimensions, and happiness can still hold different meanings for different people.

What makes some individuals and countries happier than others? Whether associated with increased personal wealth, social support, freedom of expression, or a longer healthy life, the search for happiness varies as widely as the definition of happiness itself (The Lancet, 2016).

Oishi et al. (2013) explored cultural and historical variations in concepts of happiness. First, they analysed the definitions of happiness in the dictionaries of 30 nations to understand cultural similarities and differences in happiness concepts. Secondly, they analysed the definition of happiness in Webster’s dictionaries from 1850 to the present day to understand historical changes in American English. Thirdly, they coded the State of the Union addresses given by U.S. presidents from 1790 to 2010. Finally, they investigated the appearance of the phrases happy nation versus happy person in Google’s Ngram Viewer from 1800 to 2008. Across cultures and time, happiness was most frequently defined as good luck and favourable external conditions. However, in American English, this definition was replaced by definitions focused on favourable internal feeling states. Their findings highlight the value of a historical perspective in the study of psychological concepts.

Phillips et al. (2017) have settled on a purely descriptive definition of happiness focused solely on agents’ psychological
