    Chapter 1: The Lost Puppy

    It was a sunny Saturday afternoon, and Lila was walking through the park, her favorite place in the whole neighborhood. She loved how the tall trees swayed gently in the breeze, their leaves rustling like a soft lullaby. Lila had her little backpack slung over her shoulder, filled with art supplies and a notebook, ready for her next big adventure.

    As she passed by the playground, she noticed something strange—a small, scruffy puppy sitting by the park bench. His big brown eyes were wide with fear, and his tail was tucked between his legs. Lila’s heart melted.

    She could tell the puppy was lost and didn’t know where to go.

    Hey there, little guy, Lila said softly, kneeling down to the puppy’s level. Are you lost?
