THE REVELATIONS AND APPLICATIONS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS: REVEALED THROUGH THE SACRIFICE OF CHRIST
()
About this ebook
The love of God is so perfect that the sacrifice of Jesus has made it possible for every believer to be, in spirit, "as Jesus is in this world" (1 John 4:17). Whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). You can live free from condemnation, guilt, shame, insecurity, inferiority, and sin consciousness. You can live free from sickness, disease, poverty, lack, oppression, depression, confusion, and the works of darkness. You can be healthy, blessed, and overflowing with peace, joy, and the goodness of God. "Jesus coming that you might have life and have it more abundantly" is not a fallacy (John 10:10a) but is meant to become the experience of every believer.
This book is for every Christian who wants to live as a king and a priest unto God (Revelation 1:6) and be more than a conqueror in the affairs of this life (Romans 8:37). This book will not disappoint you but will deliver all that it promises.

Foreword
It is with great pleasure and anticipation that I introduce to you the profound work of my dear friend Ian Taylor, The Revelation and Applications of Righteousness. In this enlightening book, Ian delves deep into the heart of the Christian faith, exploring the transformative power of righteousness as revealed through the sacrificial love of Christ. The core of Ian's message reveals the key that unlocks an experience with Jesus like no other. Through Jesus's selfless act of becoming sin with our sin, He paved the way for our redemption and right standing with God. By personally embracing Jesus's ultimate sacrifice, the Holy Spirit opens the door for us to be reconciled with God and to walk in the light of His grace and mercy. Through meticulous research, heartfelt reflection, and a deep reverence for the Word of God, Ian Taylor invites us on a journey of discovery, revelation, and freedom that only can be experienced through the truths contained in this book. He illuminates the profound implications of Christ's sacrifice and challenges us to embrace the gift of righteousness with humility and gratitude. As you delve into the pages of this book, may you be inspired, encouraged, and transformed by the timeless truth that Jesus became sin so that we might be made righteous. May Ian's words serve as a guiding light revealing freedom from insecurity and inferiority, dealing a death blow to sin's grip on your life. I commend this work to you with the utmost enthusiasm and conviction. May it be a source of blessing and enlightenment, guiding you on the path to a deeper understanding of righteousness and daily living the boundless love of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

The seed of this book was sown into my heart in the very early days of my born-again experience. It was perhaps about 1984 that the Lord spoke to my heart regarding righteousness, saying, To be right even as God is right.
At that time, there was no framework nor foundation for me to understand that statement. I knew only that I had heard it.
Several years later, in the very late nineties, I got ahold of a teaching series by Dr. Gary Whetstone titled His Liberty in Christ. That helped me greatly. What I learned from that series reassured me that I was not off on some tangent in left field somewhere.
In 2016, the Lord impressed me to write a book and develop a course regarding the revelation of righteousness and the sacrifice of Christ. This book is the fulfillment of a portion of that assignment. I expect another portion of that assignment will be fulfilled, hopefully in about six months, in my next book, Revelations and Applications of the Sacrifice of Christ.
It is said, Many hands make light work.
Without all the help that I received in writing this book, it would not have been a light work but a heavy lift. I am thankful and very grateful for all the individuals that contributed directly or indirectly. Their help, influence, and inspiration made this book possible.
Here is a short list of those individuals:
Pastor and Dr. Gary Whetstone, pastor and founder of Victory Christian Fellowship in New Castle, Delaware, and founder of Gary Whetstone Worldwide Ministries, has been my mentor and impactful Bible teacher for several years.
Pastor Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy and publisher of Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional has enriched me with his insights into Christ in you, the hope of glory
and comprehension of righteousness.
The pastors and members of Revivaltime Tabernacle Worldwide Ministry, Downsview, Ontario, have given me almost unlimited access to the prayer room for over a year. Their kindness has been a marvelous demonstration of the love of God and the unity of the body of Christ. Almost 50 percent of my praying, studying, and writing for this book was done on their premises, in the prayer room of Revivaltime Tabernacle.
For almost two years, I have taught Bible classes titled Trees of Righteousness.
Much of what I taught in those Bible studies has become the chapters, the truths, the very substance of this book. I am thankful to my loyal and diligent Bible study believing believers who asked provoking questions that made me think. I value their contribution.
Thanks to my children for their inspiration, support, and practical contributions in making this book a reality.
And then there are those that may not even be aware of it but were a great encouragement to me along the way, some of whom offered to assist in editing.
Finally, thanks to my wife, Daad, for her love, unwavering support, and unique grace. Her thought-provoking questions enabled me to see other perspectives. It helped me to dig deeper and ask myself questions such as, In the light of that particular revelation, what is the practical application?
She inspired me to find and articulate practical applications of the revelation of the righteousness of God so that the believer in Christ can be better helped.
In the final analysis, my greatest motivation was the need for believers to be established in righteousness and so fulfill God's desire for a family that is an extension of himself by being established in righteousness—the Father God having children that are functioning in the oneness that they have with him in Christ, living in the authority that is theirs in the name of Jesus, being confident in the rights that belong to them, and walking in the freedom from sin consciousness in the presence of God.
Introduction
Many Bible students, teachers, and scholars have understood righteousness as one's upright conduct or right standing with God, being accepted by God.
Righteousness includes all that. But we are talking about being made the righteousness of God.
Second Corinthians 5:21 and Galatians 3:21 infer that if there had been a law given that could have given righteousness, then righteousness would have been by the law.
The new covenant righteousness of God comes by means of the sacrifice of Christ. The revelation of being the righteousness of God in Christ can only be understood through the sacrifice of Christ. This book is about a revelation of righteousness revealed through the sacrifice of Christ.
The righteousness of God is about eternal life—the life of Christ in the believer. The revelation of righteousness brings the believer to a clear, compelling understanding of their true identity in Christ. The righteousness of God is about the authority of God in the believer that activates the kingdom of God (Hebrews 1:8).
When a believer functions effectively in righteousness, it results in being healed, living in divine health, salvation, prosperity, and the experience of abundance of grace. The ultimate objective of this book is to bring the believer to the place of being established in righteousness. In this place, the believer is free from oppression because they are free from fear (Isaiah 54:14). The enemy loses access to their lives. In this place, there is freedom from condemnation, guilt, shame, insecurity, inferiority, and sin consciousness.
Getting hold of the revelation of being the righteousness of God in Christ is more than a teaching. It is a better way
