The Immortals Tales - Justin Jacobs

    Chapter 1: Thorn Shadowcaster

In the heart of Netherhaven, the city of sin in the supernatural realm, a place where outcasts from various factions found solace, there existed a bar at the very core of this depraved city. It was a place where cage fights, passion, and gambling ran wild, and it was here that the world came to life.

As the night unfolded, a man engaged in conversation with a succubus, their voices entwined in a symphony of temptation. The city's underbelly was alive, pulsating with its own twisted rhythm.

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows on the exclusive top floor, where only five individuals were granted entry. This man was a spectacle in his own right, with coal-black hair cascading in long, wavy locks that seemed to shimmer like the night sky, the shade oscillating between black and midnight blue. His eyes, an entrancing hue of deep amethyst, held secrets that whispered of ancient wisdom. His features, sculpted and chiseled, seemed to transcend the boundaries of time.

He was clad in a dark coat adorned with intricate patterns that evoked arcane symbols, adding to his mystique. His pale complexion spoke of an ethereal quality that set him apart from the city's denizens.

Listen, he continued. I know you're a werewolf. We can't have you succumbing to your anger. Your raised hackles, twitching muscles, and clenched fist are telltale signs. We can't allow it. You must learn to enjoy the... diversions.

The werewolf, utterly flabbergasted, retorted, You know who I am. I hail from one of the great tribes within the Werewolf faction, at least until I got kicked out. So how about you come down here, and I'll show you who's the boss.

Laughter erupted from the onlookers, rendering the man incredulous. He was on the cusp of transforming into a werewolf when the figure above uttered, We can't have you transforming. I oversee Netherhaven, I'm the king of the city, and you must learn to control yourself.

Yet, the werewolf remained defiant. The man on the top floor took a step back, his powers unrivaled. We can't let you lose control, he declared. This is your punishment.

As a minute passed, the man on the lower floor stood frozen, unable to comprehend the torment that awaited him. Suddenly, he crumpled to the ground, writhing in agony. When he finally rose, fear
