About this ebook

Seventeen-year-old Olivia Henderson feels lost and alone

—until the summer that changes everything. Olivia dreams of using her camera to capture the urban energy of her native San Francisco. But after a year of clashing with her mom and getting mixed up with the wrong crowd, her grandmother sends Olivia away to the quirky small town her mother grew up in.

At first, Olivia plans to endure the two months in rural Michigan, even when forced to share a room with her perky younger cousin. But as Olivia begins making connections with the tight-knit community and chasing photo ops around the farm, something shifts inside. The longer she's there, the more she misses the home she's found when she thinks about leaving.

With senior year approaching, Olivia must make an impossible choice between the life she's discovered and the life she's leaving behind. As friends new and old compete for her loyalty, will Olivia find the courage to listen to her heart and stay true to herself?

"Finding Home" is an inspiring coming-of-age story about the meaning of family, forging identity in pivotal moments, and embracing second chances when the entire world feels lonely. Olivia's painful choice between familiar and new will speak to anyone struggling to plant roots while mapping their future.
