    Mr. Greer, an ordinary guy by most standards, abnormal by the rest. His small, thin frame trembled as he peeked around the open door. I’m not late, am I?

    No, Mr. Greer, you’re right on time. Suzanne, his therapist, waved him in. So, are you ready to begin?

    Mr. Greer slinked into the room and sat in a large, overstuffed chair with his back erect. He stared at Suzanne waiting further instruction.

    You can relax. She smiled. So, your first name is Stanley, can I call you Stanley?

    Stan. He cleared his throat. Please.

    Suzanne crossed her legs and clasped her hands around the top knee. Okay, Stan. Can you tell me more about what brings you here today?

    Stan clutched his hat and stared the floor. My wife says I am obsessed with time. I just like to be punctual.

    I see. And how important is punctuality to you?

    Very. He stared into Suzanne eyes. It could mean life or death.

    His intense, wide-eyed stare told her he was serious. Can I ask you what makes punctuality a matter of life or death?

    Stan started to speak, but his voice cracked and he stopped. Excuse me, this is an emotional subject. He cleared his throat and closed his eyelids in an attempt to hold back tears. Um… it started with my grandfather. He was away on a business trip. The day of his return he was supposed to catch the nine am train home, he didn’t make it on time.
