INTRODUCTION

I am writing this mostly to help encourage young college students, as well as many Christians that are being made to think that Christianity is anti-science and vice versa. And also being led to believe that evolution has something to do with the origin of life.

This book is based on evidence that is clearly seen through the complexity found when examining what was made as stated in Romans 1:19-20.

Romans 1:19–20 since what can be known about God is evident among them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, that is, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what he has made. As a result, people are without excuse.

I identify the God of the bible as the Creator of life and of the universe based on the evidence examined within human history, within what intricate nano-meter complexity that is required in the most basic cellular life, within the intricate complexity that has been found at the quantum physics level, as well as at the intergalactic structure of the universe.

Scientific consensus plays a critical role in informing public policy, guiding research funding, and communicating complex scientific issues to the public. Examples of issues where scientific consensus has been important include climate change, the safety and efficacy of vaccines, and the theory of evolution. However, seeing that the public has repeatedly been misinformed by false conclusions over the last 70 years that climate change would cause apocalyptic global disasters such as global flooding, extreme loss of human and animal life that have always failed to come to pass; as well as Covid vaccines would stop transmission of the disease, was not actually based on rigorous scrutiny, objective evidence, or the application of the scientific method, but was actually based on subjective opinions and political bias.

The same is also true of how evolution is extrapolated in reverse to falsely support abiogenesis while misusing the philosophy of methodological naturalism to exclude intelligent design with extreme prejudice. That is not how science works and also highlights how science is often manipulated by prejudice, descrimination, political manipulation of public opinion and bias.

Vulnerabilities to bias and misinformation still exists, the scientific method, coupled with a commitment to these principles, is supposed to offer a robust framework for advancing knowledge and informing society. It is only through ongoing true scrutiny, open dialogue, and a commitment to integrity that science can progress and maintain its objectivity and credibility.

Stephen C. Meyer’s book Return of the God Hypothesis (published in 2021) is a comprehensive work that argues that theism provides the best explanation for the origin and development of the universe, life, and consciousness. In the book, Meyer also discusses the rise of modern science and its relationship with theism. He builds on Michael Behe’s 1996 book called Darwin’s Black Box where Behe introduces the concept of Irreducible Complexity (IC). Meyer previously published another book in 2009 that is referenced here called Signature in the Cell where he builds on William Dembski’s 1998 book called The Design Inference.

I have endeavored to build on their concepts of Irreducible Complexity and Specified Information Complexity (SC) from my Design Engineering perspective. Actual Engineers and scientists recognize that design concepts of including varying specification levels of Accuracy (A) and Precision (P) is what makes the difference in the objectivity of those concepts. SC deals with probability, but that does not necessarily include A or P. Along with the existing scientific concept of Cognitive Load Theory, that led me to articulate the new concept that I call The Complexity versus Intelligence Equation.

Other polls have shown a dramatic rise in the group pollsters call the nones-religiously unaffiliated, agnostic, or atheistic respondents- among college and postcollege young people in the eighteen to thirty- three age range. The rapid growth of this group occurred precisely during the recent decade in which the New Atheists have gained prominence. Indeed, there are many indications from personal interviews, public opinion polls, and website testimonials-that college students in particular have been deeply influenced by the message of the New Atheists; many of these students now cite arguments similar to those made…"

The Dover trial judge claimed that evaluating ID concepts of irreducible complexity and specified complexity is a subjective process. I show how it is actually a very objective process that is based on engineering and scientific principles.

Again, my book uses the same Intelligent Design arguments for evidence of God along with my own actual design engineering perspective where knowledge, understanding, accuracy, precision, and high cognitive abilities are needed. I also include the importance of considering the scientific Theory of Cognitive Load. The evidence seen within the things made shows that God’s cognitive abilities far exceed human levels.

I attempt to use clarity and discernment to see through the many flaws, prejudice, and bias of methodological naturalist arguments. I want to make it crystal clear to readers how such prejudice is masquerading as science while misusing methodological naturalism as a thin facade as skeptics dishonestly attempt to suppress the truth of the supernatural Creator based on what is actually illogical and philosophical reasoning.

Just as with the way dishonest politicians deceive voters by manipulating information to appear gray and subjective, skeptics fight obvious truth. In the case of ID, the blind watchmaker argument attempts to explain it all away with natural selection. That’s why it’s important to keep the focus on origins of life, as well as of the universe. That makes it much harder for them to dodge and weave the issue of creation from scratch, where irreducible complexity, and specified complexity have the utmost significance leaving no room for natural selection and blind watchmaker arguments to confuse the gullible with their bias.

Just as with the Theory of Cognitive Load, Creationism and Intelligent Design is the understanding that the level of complexity found within a thing made from scratch, has ALWAYS been recognized as directly corresponding to and directly proportional to the level of cognitive abilities required to make it. That recognition goes from computers, rocket ships to written novels, computer code to integrated circuits, nano machines, forensic science, crime investigation, and on to the origin of life and of the universe.

Various levels of Complexity found within any mechanism can be tabulated, itemized and measured, just as the corresponding minimum cognitive abilities of the minds that are required to make them. That is always the case.

I don’t believe in evolution, but I also feel that we don’t necessarily have to target it as anti-creation. The reason I say that is because of the way that evolutionists have succeeded in manipulating the minds of the general public into falsely believing that evolution includes the origin of life. All that they actually have is evidence of what is called micro-evolution which we know is no more than the result of breeding one type of creature into various breeds. Evidence of breeding is all Charles Darwin had ever shown and that is still all that science has shown ever since his time.

ORIGINS BY CREATION/ID USES A DIFFERENT PARADIGM THAN NATURAL UNDIRECTED CHANCE PROCESSES

Since the CREATION/ID paradigm of the origin of life and of the universe contrasts the paradigm of evolution by natural undirected chance processes, Methodological Naturalism proponents purposely suppress creation/ID with bias and prejudice. Otherwise, evolution would be irrelevant to the question of whether origins was by creation/ID or by contrast arose by natural processes. In other words, there is a religious-like philosophical opposition to creation/ID.

Webster’s Definition of the word Paradigm:

: a philosophical and theoretical framework of a scientific school or discipline within which theories, laws, and generalizations and the experiments performed in support of them are formulated.

Again, I explain how the nature of an intelligent agent as being artificial, human or supernatural is a secondary consideration to the cognitive ability levels of any intelligent agent. Therefore, strict methodological naturalism cannot forbid the secondary consideration of a supernatural intelligent agent that first and foremost uses advanced cognitive abilities such as knowledge, wisdom, understanding, intricate workmanship and proprietary advanced technologies.

THE PROBLEM OF TURNING INTO ANOTHER KIND, BY MICHAEL LANGFIELD

The breeding of a species is determined by the existing biological parameters, stored as a specific set of biochemical instructions within their DNA as programmed at their original creation. The breeding of animals within the parameters of their programmed DNA is not a form of changing …into some other KIND of creature. The breeding process, even when directed to extremes by us, is never leading to the creation of something that was never possible within it’s original genome. Furthermore, despite DNA repair mechanisms, random gene mutations continually compound deleterious biochemically stored data that ultimately degrades & weakens the overall functioning of each subsequent descendant of the particular animal. This means reproductive capabilities within the original DNA programmed parameters will now function at a continually decreased level of efficiency.

Any idea of changing into another KIND of creature is a product of imaginative free thought, creative stories, PIXAR technology, or derived from lovers of Greek mythology. There is no realistic grounding or scientific basis for such a fantastical biological aberration!

We have bred extremely dramatic variations of something like a chihuahua or doberman. But it’s still a dog. Why haven’t we been able to continue the process of changing the dog into some other KIND of creature over thousands of years of history?

The real target should be Abiogenesis instead. Students need to be made to realize that Abiogenesis research is completely bankrupt even after several decades of study.

As for rebuttals to evolution, I have found it more effective to change the subject towards the origin of life instead. The theory of evolution doesn’t actually deal with the origin of life, but it is dishonestly presented as though it does. The actual field of study and research for the origin of life is called Abiogenesis. I have been following the latest Abiogenesis research and pointing out that there has actually been no meaningful progress in that area over the past 70 years or so since what was called the Urey-Miller experiment. Even that failed to solve any of the very basic areas of what is needed for the first living cell to arise from scratch.

Anytime we create a rocket to the moon or create products or design cures for diseases, we are using creationism by definition.

Human level intelligence is one of the best gifts that God has blessed us with over the animals. There’s no lack of logic or lack of science involved in creation by way of our intelligent mind designs. It’s too bad that we use so much of our intelligence on weapons of mass destruction, as well as on trying to find more clever ways to insult and belittle entire groups.

Also, creation and religion are two different things, it’s illogical to conflate the two.

Creationists have a very good track record of sound scientific research by way of their intelligent minds.

On the other hand, mindless chance processes can’t be shown to do anything significant.

Research examines evidence and draws conclusions that align with the actual evidence. Creationists are not prejudiced and biased as is generally assumed by evolutionists. Researchers use their intelligent minds to design and find cures for diseases, develop new chemical and electronic technologies and products. Creationist beliefs have no problems with any of that.

BIAS, DESCRIMINATION, AND PREJUDICE IN SCIENCE

Dr Dean Kenyon wrote a book called Biochemical Predestination. He was one of the foremost professors in the world on the subject of abiogenesis until he finally reached the conclusion that he could not refute the arguments on how life could not possibly arise without DNA information to produce functional proteins from scratch. He was then excommunicated - so to speak - from the religious-like community of Methodological Naturalism/ Materialist philosophy.

It’s only in origin of life research by evolutionists that the Methodological Materialist philosophy has already drawn the premature conclusion that an intelligent mind could not be considered as the cause based solely on their naturist belief system. Only in the area of origin of life is the power of intelligent design by a mind cannot be considered.

That’s why mindless undirected natural abiogenesis processes can never be falsified regardless of the odds against chance processes. Therefore, multiverse theories and other fairy tales for adults are often invoked in religious like attempts to overcome the perpetual dead ends of RNA world hypothesis that repeatedly confounds their prejudiced belief system.

The current thinking on the origin of life by way of Abiogenesis is that it started with self replicating RNA molecules that later evolved into far more complex systems that we see today within all living cells. Is the current scientific consensus actually based on empirical evidence and the scientific method? Or is it based on discrimination, bias and prejudice against the prospect of God? In forensic science, if only natural undirected causes could be considered, evidence that clearly indicates the work of advanced cognitive abilities of a criminal intelligent would always be ignored.
