I am also attending College of the Desert, where I am majoring in English.

Through crowds and crowds of endless people,

there is one standing; one whose love for you is so immense,

that some may think she is dense!

Yet her love for you is the strongest of all,

for she would never leave nor abandon you,

nor throw you away like a damaged ball

nor would she use your fame or fortune for her benefit;

she would not photograph nor post your moments of intimacy,

nor would she ever tell you that she was indifferent to you or the possibilities of reconciliation

nor would she ever tell you she was indifferent to your love

I wonder if somehow you can see me from above,

loving you and wanting you more than you know?

Still, however, I am your friend unknown,

even though you died two years ago.

A Perfect Evening

I wish that some night there would be a knock on the door

and that I would open it

to find

that you would be standing there

waiting with a smile,

undressing me with your lovely brown eyes,

as we entered the condo.
