    Introduction:

Jade was beautiful. Her chocolate eyes set deep within her radiant creamy skin were enough to take your breath away. Still, her finest quality, by far, was her hair. It flowed like shimmering ribbons of gold down her back.

Jade was beautiful. But she did not think so. Humble, with few thoughts of self-importance, she had little knowledge of who she really was. This was about to change.

    PART ONE:

    THE RARE BREED

Chapter One: Prelude to the Grand Overture, the Beginning of the Beginning.

Like all creatures and creations, Jade’s existence had always been there, lying dormant in the Growing Fields of Door. The day came when Jade’s section was dressed and set in the atmosphere to grow.

All life, growth, organization, knowledge, and power depended upon the Priesthood. Even the Gods bowed to its force. The more they humbled themselves before its scepter, the greater the god they became. Obedience was a strength, not a weakness. Obedience was the first law of Heaven. The Priesthood was there in the air, surrounding all life, waiting for choice, ordination, and anointing.

Judah and Elohim were not only Gods but also best of friends. Judah was the head ruler over Five Cosmoses. He was considered the Great Monarch. Elohim was king of one of the five domains. He presided over the first and largest macrocosm. As busy as Judah was, he loved Elohim and placed a significant priority on staying close to him, as did their wives.

King Judah and Carrie dwelt above the five realms in a grand mansion. On the east side of this home lay a tropical paradise. Exotic fruits graced the tables from its rich and beautiful vegetation. On the west side of the home was a private beach with a spectacular ocean view. Behind the palace lay the servants' quarters. There were over two hundred faithful, loyal attendants who worked and supported life in the stately home. The road coming into the magnificent home was lined with miles and miles of high trees that bent over and intertwined with each other. This created a canopy of arching leaves. It was Carrie’s favorite pastime to ride her horse beneath them. Deer, moose, elephants, zebras, and thousands of other animals roamed the spacious fields adjacent to this entry road.

Inside the palace was no less fabulous. There was a library as extensive as a city block. The latest technological wonders lined the walls of the organized archive. There were enough bedrooms for visiting dignitaries and their families. The basement of the home hosted a large game room with bowling alleys, movie theaters, pool tables, pickleball courts, and swimming pools. The kitchen had three walk-in refrigerators, an array of different cooking ovens, BBQ pits, large grills, and smokers. Because most of the meals were eaten outside, the patio was as comfortable as it was enormous. A renowned garden surrounded the terrace.

Both Judah and Carrie were collectors. Judah had an entire wing displaying his rock and precious gem collections. Carrie revealed rows of rare butterflies and paintings. Her best friend Jessica, Elohim’s wife, was a master quilt maker. Jessica’s masterpieces were especially famous. They decorated the entrance to the home. The squares in one of the quilts were as tiny as a thumbprint.

Because of the deep respect and friendship King Judah and Carrie had withElohim and Jessica, they built a lovely vacation home next to their friend's mansion. Staying there would mean King Judah would need to travel a great deal to keep close to the other four cosmoses, but he was more than willing to make this sacrifice. Sacrifice was the second law of heaven.

This was a special day. Judah and his wife, Carrie, as well as Elohim and his wife, Jessica, were touring the Growing Fields. They were looking for materials to organize Elohim’s first people-inhabited-planet. Elohim had much practice creating worlds within his universe, but this was the first planet to be home to his beloved children. He wanted it to be incredibly wonderful. Someday he would have a son. He wanted his first-born son to create this world. He wanted it to be called Earth.

Judah and Elohim never diminished in their awe for the miracle of growth seen daily in the majestic pasture lands on the Door. All gray matter there began with complete equality, a perfect carbon copy of the same DNA. Then, the power of CHOICE coursed through these beginning building blocks for life. Nodes began to appear. If an ashen mass chose to barely grow, it was used for the making of rocks, soil, and water.Nodes that stretched high and billowed in the wind were used to create the spirits of plants and animals. Elohim and Judah’s favorite sight were the thirsty nodes, so hungered for enlargement, they towered above all else. These would become the souls of man, his spirit sons and daughters.

Rounding a bend in the fields, Elohim and Judah stopped short as they saw a remarkable sight. Three enormous nodes were growing side by side in perfect unison. Now here was something as scarce as faith.

Have you ever seen anything like this? King Judah exclaimed in wonder.

Never! It is ZORANGE, that is certain, added Elohim.

    Zorange? questioned King Judah.

Yes, laughed Elohim. It is a word from planet Zar. It means unique, abnormal, out of the ordinary, even weird. I like it because it is the only word that rhymes with orange.

Judah carefully began to inspected small details on the lumps. Look….. this particular node has chosen to be a female. Notice the distinctive soft skin. My wife and I have always longed for a unique daughter. I would be overjoyed to be a father of someone so noble, King Judah excitedly proclaimed.

I have been attempting to divide the remaining two nodes. They will not come apart. They have chosen to be together, said Elohim.

Jessica and Carrie had arrived to stand behind their husbands.

I feel instinctively they will be our identical twin boys, smiled Jessica. She turned loving eyes towards her eternal mate. Like their spouses, the women struggled in amazement to comprehend the magnitude of the mega growthsbefore them. There was no question that the nodes were hallowed, and they would be humbled and richly blessed to raise them.

Because King Judah loved rare stones and because green was Carrie’s favorite color, they named their daughter Jade. It held a sacred symbolism to them.

King Elohim and Jessica named their exact sons Jesse and Lushin. They were as inseparable as boys as they had been in the growing fields. Bonded with love as thick as steel, it was hard to imagine what was about to happen.…and what was about to happen was……. Princess Jade.

Jade had ample memories with Prince Jesse and Prince Lushin, enough to fill a host of diaries and journals. She treasured each moment. One memory in particular changed Jade’s life. It was a simple one.

Jade and Jesse had been playing pickleball when Lushin found them. It was a challenging game to maneuver with the odd number of three.

Why did you not wait for me? cried Lushin angrily.

We were playing until you were finished practicing your piano, explained Jesse.

So I am here now, said Lushin.

We are almost done, said Jade.

Start over, and we can do a three-person rotation. Better yet, let’s go inside. I want to play a card game, announced Lushin.

In order to keep the peace, it might be wise just to do what Lushin wants, whispered Jade.

The card game ended with Lushin having a temper because he lost. He threw the cards across the room before he stormed off.

This began a long stream of difficult days with Lushin. A pattern developed. His feelings were easily hurt. Things had to be done his way. He pouted if he did not win. He began to compete with Jesse for Jade’s attention. He started to compete in everything, especially the sick need to be always right. He developed OCD and needed to have everything be perfect. He chose to pout and complain. Everyone in the heavens,at one time or another, had these similar traits, but for Lushin, they became a way of life.

As the years passed, the bond Jade developed with Jesse seemed to correspond with her rising beauty. She continued to have unconditional brotherly love for Lushin, but she worshiped and revered Jesse.

Lushin grew jealous of the bond between Jade and Jesse. He could not understand it. At times, he even tried to act like Jesse in an attempt to fool her. Jade knew instinctivelythat it was him. It was as if she could breathe the difference. A wave of anger began to simmer in Lushin, beneath the surface, carefully hidden from Father Elohim’s eyes. Or was it?

There was to be a Grand Counsel in the heavens. Guests from other spheres had been arriving for weeks. Kings, lords, priests, and priestesses crowded the streets. There had been talk of a prophesied war. Lushin felt this was his opportunity to impress Jade and cause her to turn her loyal, soft eyes towards him. As a prince, he would be looked upon as a primary contributor to the Counsel. His desperation was hidden within a cloak of deathly calmness. He craved her attention.

Hear ye, hear ye, Elohim’s pounding mallet silenced the throngs and brought order to the Counsel.

I have called all of my beloved children here to make some momentous decisions, said King Elohim with an air of profound importance.

My son Jesse and his team are about to begin the creation and organization of planet Earth. It will take seven days. That will be seven of OUR royal days, not the human race’s short hours. When it is finished, it will be glorious! announced Father Elohim.

    Excited applause echoed in response.

Soon, the remaining step will be to add human life to this planet. It will be a place of testing and adversity. Because of this, your memory of this pre-life will be ERASED, continued Elohim.

"I will see the metal within each soul.

I will see those who candidly walk by faith.

I will see which of my children truly desires to return home.

MORTAL EARTH-LIFE IS REALLY ABOUT COMING HOME," instructed Elohim.

Whispered apprehension buzzed like wasps through the air.

It will be a place where you will receive a body like mine and your mother’s. Great shouts of joy and excitement continued for so long Elohim had to use his mallet to quiet the crowd. Elohim continued.

This step of birth is necessary for your eternal progression. There will be times when your soul will be melancholyfor the life you have had here. I will not send you away without comfort. Knee in humble prayer, and I will help and support you along every walk of life. I will strengthen you across each trial. I will give you directions for true happinessby way of my scriptures, prophets, and inspiration from the Holy Ghost. I love you. You are my sons and daughters. Stay connected, Elohim taught.

Through the power of Choice, I need someone to volunteer to be a Savior. It will not be an easy job. This person must be willing to take upon himself the price of paying for all of the repented sins of my children. Most of you have seen the horrific scenes from the Aerial Cosmos. No one there was willing to come forward and volunteer to bring salvation. Their entire universe and several galaxies cannot progress. It is a sad sight indeed. There is no resurrection. They cannot repent. They know no happiness. It would break my heart to see this happen to my beloved children, mourned Elohim.

Send me, I will go, offered Jesse. I am concerned for my brothers and sisters. I do not want our home to become like the living death of Aerial.

You just desire to be noticed! You want glory, praise, and power. Lushin’s vicious barb flicked forth.

Where has this come from, Lushin? Why are you angry with me? Have I crossed you somehow, Brother? questioned Jesse.

You have crossed me, most cruelly. You knew I loved Jade. She was the only one for me. You have had countless women pursue you. You could have had anyone you wanted, but you took…. MINE. Lushin declared in a shaky whisper.

Swinging around, Lushin addressed Elohim and the crowd with a loud voice. I, too, volunteer to go to Earth but with MY plan. You know, I have always been an obsessive perfectionist. I offer perfection to everyone. They will not need to be tested with adversity. I will save them all. Easy, so easy! Smugness enveloped his voice.

Lushin, do you realize the danger of this plan of yours? It will remove the great principle of Choice from those who follow you. My son, you falsely accuse your elder brother. His views are pure and glorious. He only desires what is best for our home and you, Elohim pleaded.

Always taking Jesse’s side, Father, ALWAYS! Jealousy dripped from Lushin’s words.

The spirit warned me this would happen. This case scenario has occurred in other worlds. I will not let our home suffer the fate other kingdoms have gone through, said Elohim.

"I cannot and will not remove Choice from my children. We actually needed this adversity. Everyone literally needs to choose between forces. I am asking all of my children to return to their homes. Think! Ponder! Take this night to make your decision between Jesse and Lushin. Consider the consequences. Return again tomorrow at the same time," Elohim sorrowfully declared.

It was a war. It was not a war of swords but words. Words dividing sons and daughters. The contention raged all night. Person after person debating the pros and cons of each side. Blackness veiled the sky that night. Few slept. Jesse, Jade, Jessica, and Elohim desperately needed to gather for some sense of peace and debriefing.

I never dreamed this would happen to our son. He was so good. He was a blue-blood right from the Growing Fields. What did we do wrong? Jessica was crying.

These are Lushin’s problems, Lushin’s choices, Jessica. We did all we could. Elohim held her in His arms, comforting her.

"Other universes have gone through this. Opposition is necessary. All people need to choose between right and wrong. Everyone needs to be tested in pre-earth life AND in mortal life. A lot depends on Choice. Lushin has his counterfeits. They look a lot like mine and Jesse’s plan. The identical twins are both promoting perfectionism. The trick is to be more concerned with being divine than in being right," said Elohim.

The issue that hurts me the most is that my children who choose Lushin’s way will not have a body. They will be cast out. I will never see them again. I can’t tell you how that hurts. I love them, Jessica cried.

Morning brought little relief. Crowds gathered with many families continuing to battle.

Lushin was the first to speak, "Choose your side now, the way of easy
