Byakko (白光) is a Japanese word meaning ‘white light.’ It is the clear and free-flowing light emitting from the deepest and highest condition of a human being. This publication is for people who wish to call forth this pure light in their daily lives, letting it create a bright future for humanity and the planet Earth.

    Daily Reflections

    by Masami Saionji

Time flows like a muddy stream. As soon as you think a new idea or experience has flowed away, the next new moment flows toward you.

For all human beings, from birth until death, everything stems from the assumptions and beliefs that we form during our lives. We each create the outcomes of what we presume to be true.

    dr_design

Before volunteering for reforms or revolutions, we ought to first think about our way of living—how fully we can live in the spirit of peace and how we can be of service to the world.

    dr_design

Whatever the situation, if we tackle it as if it were the final work of our lives, everything will be beautifully resolved.

    dr_design

An incredibly bright future will await us if we change our negative way of thinking into a positive one.

    dr_design

If you examine the lives of great people all around the world, their achievements come from rising above many failures, and continuing to resolutely strive for their future success while pouring their passion into it. As you do this, a ray of light will leap in your direction.

If we can live each day as if it were our last, we will have no regrets.

Yuka Saionji: Thanks to all of you for taking time out at this busy time of year to join in our last online gathering of 2023.

Rika Saionji: In our last session (on December 9) we worked together on practicing gratitude. And during these past two weeks, along with all of you, I have been thinking about how to deepen my feelings of gratitude in daily life. As a result of this, today, I feel that all our hearts are overflowing with gratitude toward the earth and great nature.

Last time, we quietly focused together on gratitude, which
