About this ebook

With the yearly Cherry Festival and her twenty-first birthday approaching, Charity Masterson, or Cherry as her friends and family call her, has her sights on finally taking over her father's business, the aptly named "Daddy's Bar." At least, she did until a ruggedly handsome stranger stumbles into town and finds himself a job at Daddy's. After she offers him a particularly enticing display of prowess on the bar's mechanical bull, she cozies up next to the stranger, where he lets her in on his big secret: he's put in an offer on the bar, and the owner is considering it.

Fuming, Charity stands up to her father, and the stranger quickly realizes he's made a fast enemy of the redheaded spitfire. With her father considering the offer and thinking his daughter could do better than a run-down bar populated by degenerates and lechers, she makes it her mission to prove herself the better owner of Daddy's legacy.

Adding fuel to her drive, she's annoyingly developed a crush on the stranger due to his unwillingness to bend to her demands like most in town do. She takes it upon herself to show the stranger what owning the bar entails by inviting him to the after-hours, adults-only experience at the town's yearly cherry festival. While there, Sarge gets into a fight with Cherry's brutish ex to prove a point and maybe win over Charity in a display of raw masculinity.

Instead of fawning over his stupidity, she puts ice on the flames building between herself and Sarge.

At least, she does until she finds out that her bit part in the Friday night finale of the festival has shifted. The regular star of the show has fallen ill and the town leaders have voted Charity in as the young woman's replacement. After being outvoted, her father has gone to great lengths to ensure her partner for the show is his new bartender. Considering he's the only man Daddy's ever seen turn his daughter's advances down, he's also the only man Daddy trusts to let Charity lead the sordid dance.

The rivals quickly find themselves on display in front of a large portion of the town, and Sarge dutifully follows Charity's guidance. The only question is, how far will Sarge let Charity go when he discovers the expectation among the audience is to see the town tease get tamed atop the mechanical bull in her father's bar.

I am someone who finds writing fun and sometimes even cathartic. These aren't fluffy stories. They have trauma and heartache and some of them have bright spots while some have none. They are reflections of dreams I've had or just an idea I couldn't let go of.My erotica is digital busking by a storyteller. What you'll find within the pages I'm offering are flawed people with deep introspection having lots of sordid sex. Hopefully hot smutty sex.Reviews would be amazing. Negative or positive, I really don't care. Some kind of honest feedback will always mean more to me than your dollar will, especially if it's informative.I've launched a new erotic writing podcast with a friend and fellow author. With her deep red hair done up in long dutch braids that fell over her shoulders, her dark denim shorts that fell a respectable length down the back of her thigh—at least until she bent over—and a sleeveless purple flannel shirt tied in the front, Charity Masterson put her leg over the wide body of the mechanical bull she'd spent every night since her nineteenth birthday practicing on.

She wanted nothing more than to follow in her mother's footsteps, but she had a fear of not living up to the legacy her statuesque mother left. Especially living up to 'Cherry', a nickname bestowed upon the girl by her mother in honor of the town's annual cherry festival which was held mid-August every year—and where her mother and father met many years before—as well as calling attention to the inherited thick, curly, deep-red hair the child sported. That her mother's hair was dyed to enhance her own lighter red shade to match her daughter's wasn't lost on Charity as she grew. Of all the things she had in common with her mother, her hair was the thing that most connected the two for the townspeople. Everyone wanted to touch it as they reminisced about her mama, Amber, or as Charity's father called her, 'Berry.'

Charity's bright red lips curled into a smile as she nodded to the bartender, who shook his head with a big smile of his own. He watched the young woman grip the reins in one hand and lean back slightly as the bull began to tip forward with the press of a button on the side of an old cash register. A move that left a scowl on the large blonde man leaning back on the bar to the left of the bartender.

Her body arched as the jerky bull squealed to a start. Charity's thighs clenched the cool metal as sweat dripped down her clavicle and between her breasts, the hardest part of riding the bull was not letting the summer heat in an old bar that lacked air conditioning make your skin either too wet to hold on, or too sticky to let go. The moments she was most like her mama, was when Charity fell away and Cherry took over: pure sultry charm in full swing.

The bull began a steady thrum as Cherry pressed the tip of her tongue behind her upper teeth. Her head tilted to the side as she took in exactly how she would master the bull with people watching her on it for the first time in her life. But, the people faded away as her eyes lifted from the movement of the old bull back up to the eyes of the bartender, which were an icier shade of blue with a dark ring around the iris to her broken-in-denim-leaning shade.

A familiar vibration made her cheeks flush and her lips part as she tipped her head defiantly toward the larger man who'd insisted he would be the better ride between himself and the handsome new bartender she'd been grinning at from the time she stepped foot in the bar on that hot summer night.

Cherry's tongue pushed firmly against her upper teeth as an involuntary smile came over her. Her eyes closed as the bull rocked her and she let the vibrations, dulled through her jeans but still strong enough to elicit a reaction, course through her lower body. Her thighs kept her in place as her hand gripped the rein tighter. Her eyes opened as her head tipped back, creating an ever inviting line down the front of her neck as her hips tipped and her back arched.

The bartender had whispered something to her before she left his side, Pretend it's an overconfident lover. The rein is his hair, so pull it tighter and roll with his movement or you might get bucked off. Advice she already knew but let him believe he was giving her a vital piece of information that might keep her from embarrassing herself.

There wasn't an eye in the bar not on the body of
