Preface
Thanks for believing in me and choosing to read my words. In this book I have expressed all the possible aspects and challenges one goes through after losing the closest person. Each and every word expressed is derived from my heart and I believe all that loss which I suffered gives the same pain to each of us who is suffering this.
I lost my closest soul forever and that moment was also the beginning of a lot of challenges that I didn’t even imagine. Physically, mentally, emotionally and socially, all the aspects of my life have changed. I have tried to put light on all of these aspects and want you to understand the gravity of balancing yourself during this period.
I have felt this pain and have also understood the importance of standing strong. I have closely witnessed the loss of failing to stand for yourself in this critical situation and I don’t want anyone who has already lost the most important soul to lose anything more.
I hope that all my experiences and learning during this phase will help you to face this phase and I firmly believe that I will also be able to touch your wretched heart and absorb your pain through my words.
Just stand strong with yourself and this time will also pass.
Days are too long and heavy,
It's becoming harder to cry alone and pass these nights,
You were my luckiest shining star,
I miss you all the time there under the moonlight,
Since I lost you forever,
I lost myself and my world has turned quiet,
I miss a lot those wonderful days,
When just with your presence my life was bright,
My heart does not feel emotion now,
For me, today there is nothing that to me excite,
It's only your memories of the past,
That gives me pain but it’s also reason to delight,
My body has been numbed,
As it has fallen from a great height,
I don’t like to be with others,
It's like to me every person is trying to bite,
I just want to be with you once,
I want to tell my stories and hold you tight,
I want to let you know everything,
How much I need you to be fine and feel alright,
You were the most pious,
Your soul was beautiful and pure as white,
I want you to be back with me,
And to correct all the wrongs into the right,
You were the essence of my life,
Reminiscing you the pain in my heart ignites,
You are an inseparable part of mine,
I will always respect and love you to the infinite…
The Soul
You only see the person, but I am the whole,
You feel love, care, and all other emotions - it's what I control,
When you lose your dearest one and miss them, it's again I who burn like coal,
I live inside you, I was there inside your loved ones whom you miss - I am the soul.
Feelings are the most authentic sense in the human heart. It does not happen immediately; it takes a lot of things to feel something for someone. Emotion, love, affection, care, trust, respect, time, and many more things are prerequisites for it. The feeling is that one factor that can give you an immense sense of rejoicing but this same feeling can give immense hurt and pain.
Grief or Sorrow is the most poignant pain that one can suffer. It is the saddest and heaviest emotion one can ever experience in this world and it is completely aberrant to feel so. Not everyone experiences this sensation at random; numerous factors must be considered in order to form a particular link, and most importantly, it takes a very compassionate heart and a pure spirit to feel this anguish of grief.
To feel the true sense of feeling like grief or suffering sorrow does not require having any relation or kingship. It only requires a heart that beat for one forever and a soul that feels.
A true bond of relation also does hurt as much as it gives joy. Maybe you lost a partner who mean all relations to you, a mother who bought you into this beautiful world, a father who was your all-time real hero, a child into whom you saw your whole world, a friend with whom you grew up, a sibling who used to tease you but used to love you more, grandparents who taught you walking or a pet who always waited for you. It does not require even to have any relation if your heart is bleeding after losing someone it means that one was most beloved to you.
The phase of grief aches the heart a lot and it is the most difficult pain to carry especially its worst when you know that there is no one with you and you are incomplete now, no one to feel your pain, hold your hand, wipe your tears, give you shoulder and let you know that this time will pass.
Everything does not appear to be the same for everyone; everyone has their own way of seeing things, like a half glass or a full glass of water. That loss of someone does not mean the same thing to everyone; for some, it is simply the death of someone, while for others, it is the loss of everything, including their own self. Who are you? Since you lost your most adorable love have
