About this ebook
This book will take you through the second world war and it will tell a story of the real consequences of war. This is a unique way of getting through the battles and the main characters involved at the time. I guarantee you will not find another book like this one, it is unique. It was my personal ambition to publish something to commerate the 80th anniversary of D-Day in 2024 and I pay tribute to all of those lost souls around the world and wonder why on earth there are still wars in this day and age. Most of the people who had witnessed or taken part in these unforgetable moments in history thought that this sort of conflict would never happen again. They fought for that idealism. They never wanted future generations to suffer in the way they did.
Make no mistake, this book is totally anti-war and describes everything I feel about it looking back as one of the future generations at that time. I have tried to show the important parts of the battles that took place and how they affected the end result but there is no getting away from the misery of what war brings.
