    Pholopdipolop

The production of pholopdipolop continues apace; the process is lengthy, involving great care and attention. The harvest is dependent upon the seasons, the natural environment, clean well-oxygenated water, and the right amount of sunlight, as well as the wisdom, knowledge and expertise of the fairy leader, Phoebe. Phoebe is a beautiful fairy, with her long, wavy red hair, bright blue, almond-shaped eyes and burgundy spectacles; she is creative, kind, has a desire to learn, and a love of dressing in pink. Pocket Wood, with its abundance of reed beds, a fast-running stream that flows along its length, and moth orchids clinging to willow trees providing dappled light, is perfectly located for fairy life. When Phoebe’s great, great, grandmothers, Effie and Nancy ran the fairy estate, fairy life was much harder. Some fairies were weakened by poor health, a few were unable to fly due to underdeveloped wings, and only a small number had the energy to shine brightly and enjoy long life. Effie and Nancy always worked hard to provide the best for the fairy estate, but it fell to Phoebe’s ingenuity to find a long-lasting remedy. Fairy life is now orderly: the estate consists of fairy workers, nurses, fixers, catchers, mixers, millers, scouts, guides and assemblers.

Today, all the fairies in Pocket Wood enjoy long life, and Phoebe is valued beyond measure. During her early years Phoebe worked hard, and with the guidance of her great, great, grandmothers, her curious nature made her wise beyond her years. Both Effie and Nancy were certain she would lead the Pocket Wood fairies to long life and prosperity. They were not disappointed.

Phoebe had created pholopdipolop many years
