First and foremost, I must thank my Father, God, for the magnanimous gift of imagination. May the conundrums of a godfather shine a light on some means of recourse to evolve more consciously. I do believe the plausibility certainly exists to direct our evolution in a conscious, monitored manner that everyone would come to embrace.

Introduction
Who I am may hardly matter; but what I am—a godfather of my brother's son, Ethan—purports thoughts of what is and what fathomably could be. Most people arrive at a consciousness of consequences, which simply means that certain actions result in a particular manner. If only the choice of what is right versus what is wrong was much more obvious, straightforward, and simple to make. Emotionalism often puts a razor knife on some wrists as testosterone or estrogen tilts the teeter-totter too high and leads to the unwise. Falling into emotionally complicated situations comes with a myriad of questions, one of which is What is the appropriate thing to do?
To be chosen as a godfather has a delineation of spiritualism. Knowing that you are of sound mind surely implies that you have thoughts, but there must be some insights into what may be omniscient or omnipotent. We must come to fully recognize the ferocity that dwells within each of us. Fathom the prayers that reside within our consciousness to be led not into temptation but be delivered from our own inherent carnality in desires to survive and thrive while all along we dwell with a consistent longing to secure a peacefulness for our family, our friends, and global existence.
Memory
Our memories help create the person that we are. From the earliest moments of learning how to walk, our motor skills and cognitive skills are in development. We grow, develop, and become educated about new things throughout our entire lives. Every success, along with all the mistakes, gets stored within our memory. These occurrences provide us with a sense of self and make up our continual experience of life.
Memory contributes to our ability to imagine upcoming events. This aids our future forethought abilities through mental challenges with different strategies to potentially achieve different possible outcomes. Our mental simulations sort out solutions and become a coping mechanism to have less anxiety. We are a collection of our thoughts and beliefs that come from what we were taught and what we have experienced. Memory gives individuals a framework through which to make sense of the present and the future.
Memory plays a part in everything that we do. From a simple hello to our goodbyes, all our salutations are constantly modified by the memories of our experiences. A really easy way to look at a small portion of memory is by what we will or will not eat. We know what we do or do not like by memory of tastes and textures. The way it feels to be you as well as your happiness, sadness, anger, and fear all exist within what you have experienced before. Who you are is directly associated with your memory.
My Youth
My memory has an occasional happy recall of a sick day at thirteen years old. At home with a common cold, I was allowed to hang out in my parents' bed, where I could watch TV. For some odd reason, I picked an off-the-wall flick like Jesus Christ Superstar instead of Bonanza. I was astounded. At the end of the movie, I had to ask my mom point-blank, Who is Jesus Christ?
The answer was way too odd and vague for me but would never be forgotten: All you need to know is that he died for the forgiveness of your sins.
This sick day at home seemed to be the beginning of a small chain of events that guided me into my faith. Within myself I had to know more about this dude named Jesus. My abilities in schooling dwindled at the time because of my own personal disregard. The educational assistance of my parents was lame, so I slipped into the common kid apathy. Because of the fact that my biological folks had remarried, I carried a keen interest in my father. My thoughts believed he would help solve all my problems. The summer of my thirteenth year, I got to go visit him, and there began my spiritual journey.
James, my dad, was a devout Roman Catholic. During his younger days, Catholic services were still given in the Latin language. That astounds me because there were many occasions where I had a hard time staying awake during church service. Anyway, he and I would head to church every Sunday. I quickly became familiar with the life of this Jesus fellow. There was so much to mentally grasp in the vast kaleidoscope of rich dynamics to God's love. Fathoming the depths of emotion in the relationship of a parent and their child, a being to a fellow being, thoughts of a creator unto his creation with the absolute hope in and encouragement toward an eternal existence.
Little did I know that the constraints of Catholicism had crushed my father's concerns as a fellow human being. His objectives were clearly defined: to have a well-educated child that did no alcohol or drugs and had absolutely no sex life. Every time I got a girlfriend, he knew. Within weeks of every relationship, I was told to set the relationship aside and focus on school and a constant chore list. At fourteen, I had my first job as a gas-station attendant during the summer. Come winter I became a grocery boy. This busy schedule included school sports—from football, wrestling, to baseball—where I kept the bench occupied. On top of all this, I suffered from constant acne breakouts, and that alone kept my high school years pretty much free of romance.
Community college continued my education, and with this was an hour-long bus ride to school. I was lucky. Half of the bus had an hour-and-a-half ride to college. On that bus, I met the first love of my life, Kristen. She was a couple of years older than me and had a baby girl. Becoming a quick, instant family sometimes
