Mystery of Veerpuri
1.Legend of Veerpuri
Today was New Moon's Night, and my entire neighborhood was dark. Because there was no moon in the sky.. and also today all the roads were dark due to the loss of power to the light poles of the entire area but meanwhile people of the Manoriwadi were in hurry for offering food to god shiva on the occasion of new moon night. but I was not; it was 7.00pm and I was still laying on my bed by reading one of my favourite Historical book which was ‘ the lost city of Dwaraka ‘ and whenever I read about dwarka I just started to questioning myself , means ‘how Krishna thought and made the dwarka ? was dwarka really exists ? then how was dwarka destroyed?’ and many more but one thing was only truth that I was still a 16 years old school boy, who love to read books but don’t like to go outside from home, in short I am totally introvert type of this family. my mother is very talkative person but my father is just like me he also don’t like crowd and people very much , he is very introvert type of person as I am and I always thinking about them , means ‘how was they fallen for each other . well , god knows! ‘,But I was so focused on my reading that I couldn't hear any of the sounds around my house. I was like, Nothing was happening for me outside.
I was just living in my own universe, and nobody would be able to meddle with it since I hadn't given anybody permission to do so. But my ears were conscious for a brief period when I heard a familiar sound. When I listened intently, I realized my mother was calling me by my name from kitchen. achyut. ...... beta(son) achyut ,please come here for second I have some work for you
she shouted . okay ! mom I’ll come in just a moment
I replied from my bedroom. After a second I close my book and make a hurry for the kitchen where my mother was waiting for me some reason.
When I entered the kitchen, I saw my mother laying some rice and curd in one plate. Also she was dressed a pink colored nauwawari saree in which she appears exquisite like heaven’s girl , when I approached her she gave me that plate and one coconut to offer god shiva and added achyut today is new moon’s night so go and offer this food to god shiva
but I had some doubts so I immediately asked her
hey mom , why we need always offer to god? I mean on every new moon’s night.
then she replied with pleasant smile listen carefully my son every time when we offer food to god then it has hidden meaning behind .
and what is that meaning mom ?
I ask to my mom but at the time my father was arrived in kitchen for glass of water and he heard all of our conversation from the start ,so he started to explaining me reason behind the offering because beta , remember one thing don’t assume god as statue which you could see in temple; god is real soul just like us , that’s why as we get hungry , likewise god hungry too . and so we offer food to god.
Actually when my father told me that ‘god is real’ at moment I was not convinced of their answer but still I took offering and left the house for go to the temple. After few minutes later I approach to Manoriwadi’s main temple which is called ‘shiv shmabho temple’ . when I approached to the temple there was already lot of crowd for offering in the temple. so somehow I need to wait here for at least an hour ; I decided to wait outside till crowd removes, so I waited outside of temple under the banyan tree but then abruptly one hand was came from my behind and hits me very hard on my shoulder. when I turn back and see, then I realize it was none other than my best friend Alok . he approaches me with beautiful smile. Alok had same age as me, Also, we studied in the same school and class, and he was my only buddy with whom I could communicate all of my difficulties without hesitation., he was like my best friend. so buddy what were you thinking here by sitting alone?
Alok quickly asks me and when he asked me I was instantly switched myself from my thinking mode to conversing mode with him. no , brother I am just waiting for my darshan . as you can see ,there is a lot of crowd and I don’t like crowd very much so I am waiting here outside.
I replied
are you out of your mind ?
he said to me by teasing but why ?
I ask him in dim voice
because bro remember , this is not a school where you wait for something and you got because you deserve it but my friend this is a real life and here, when you want something then you need to fight for it nobody cares if you are deserve or not ,if somebody cares then that’s its own pride, understood.
He answered me
then what should I do by your opinion?
I ask him
You passed through this crowd. Why are you here waiting for the crowd to die down? Just hurry up, buddy.
Alok replied
but ...but...
I am murmuring in mouth
don’t be fear when I am here
Alok encourages me and started to pulling my hand. After that, with some of Alok's might, I made my way past the mob at Lord Shiva Temple. Alok came to accompany me.. I and Alok were having difficulty navigating the large crowd. Everyone was standing up in line, but they were still shoving each other quite hard. I and Alok were standing in the center of the darshan queue, offering food at the moment I said to Alok in a fatigued look. hey Alok , why were you call me here ,look how many people are gathered here. I am pissed off in this queue, you did this very wrong.
you’re right bro but don’t you know about feeling of enchanting ?
Alok replied
feeling of enchanting ?what did you mean by that ?
I ask him by curiosity
feeling of enchanting means your affection towards god, because in the whole universe god is only Almighty which is more beautiful than kaamdeva and we humans contains only one piece of kaamdeva’s soul so just imagine how much more beautiful will god be, and you get the chance to meet that Almighty legend after an hour. so just take my advice and keep patient for moment .ok !
Alok explained it to me all this stuff and after this explanation somehow I agreed to him, but still I wasn’t started believing in god after what he said to me but I was just curious about the thing . so when Alok explained me about the feeling of enchanting then, I didn’t do any argument with him and I stood there patiently to experience the great feeling of enchanting that would I have after an hour. I and Alok approached to the statue of shiv shamboo god .but still there was large mob in front of us and all the villagers were almost came in traditional dresses, when I and Alok approached to core of temple. There were various people in front of us, pushing me and my companion Alok, but we were able to present our offering food to the pujari (priest) for serving the god. However, due to the congestion, we did not have a satisfactory darshan, which made me quite
