After the defeat, the exiled emperor, Haile Selassie, gave an impressive speech on 30 June, 1936, to the League of Nations, chastising them for having done nothing to aid his country [modern Ethiopia] in its time of need [from Mussolini] and warning, ‘It will be you tomorrow’. His speech turned out to be prophetic (War Crimes; pg. 451)...

Had the West cared at all about the plight of Ethiopia at the time of its sorrow then it is very likely there would have never been a second world war. Not one shot may have ever been fired.
As you sow…so you reap…And sometimes the most significant harvests come about merely by neglecting to sow anything at all.
On that note, let’s take another look at the modern Western love affair with Christian nationalism which appears to be spiralling out of control, making many of the same mistakes that submerged the globe just a few generations ago. Seeking a lordly empire, the bedfellows of Christian leaders are indeed getting stranger and stranger.
