What is the Digital World?
The digital world refers to the virtual environment created by computers, smartphones, and the Internet. It encompasses everything from social media platforms and online games to educational websites and E-commerce.
The digital world is a vast and ever-evolving space where information is readily available at our fingertips, allowing us to connect with friends and family across the globe in an instant. With new forms of entertainment constantly emerging, we can download movies to our phones from anywhere in the world as soon as they are released. However, there is yet to be a clear and unanimous understanding of how all this impacts modern society.
The Impact of the Digital World on Children
Children today are digital natives. They learn to swipe on a screen before they can tie their shoelaces. The digital world has become an integral part of children's lives, offering them new opportunities for learning, communication, creativity, and entertainment. This early exposure to the digital world can have both positive and negative impacts.
On the positive side, children can access vast amounts of information, learn new skills, and connect with diverse cultures. However, they can also be exposed to risks such as privacy issues, digital skills gaps, screen addiction, health problems, cyberbullying, online predators, and harmful
