About this ebook
Find out why, at the end of the day, your Realtor© works for $3.00 an hour. Realtor© must go through extensive training to get their license. Hundreds of hours and tests along the way help to carve their niche in the complex world of real estate. The huge number of texts and phone calls that they initiate as well as reply to, can accumulate to over 1,000 per week per client. We will explore in depth on what a realtor does in each part of a transaction. Not only do they prepare paperwork and contracts they act as an intermediary in the negotiation processes. Realtors© develop a keen understanding in relaying information on market conditions, current property values and have daily communication with mortgages and title companies.
Kerry Mitchell
Kerry Mitchell has always cared deeply for people and their paths in life. She brags about having a PHD from the School of Hard Knocks as many others do. As a successful executive recruiter for 12 years, she led her office each year in production eventually opening her own placement firm. Hungry for change, she began a 30-year career in real estate. After spending 11 very successful years in the real estate arena in Maryland, Kerry relocated to Tampa Bay, Florida, became a Broker Associate in 2005 and managed 13 agents. While managing 2 offices in Sarasota, Florida in 2005, Kerry began to hear about green built structures being healthier and more energy efficient. She went into a deep self-study mode, researching wondering why no one was training the real estate industry on these issues. So, Kerry established Green Real Estate Education, took it upon herself to self-educate, did her own research and wrote courses for the various declines within the real estate industry, gaining CEU approvals in trade associations in over 17 states. Kerry found experts who pioneered facilitation green insurance metrics in that industry and collaborated in writing "Green Building for Insurance Professionals." That effort resulted in gaining approval in all 50 states, That course was offered through a 3rd party provider. She is responsible for educating close to 20,000 in sustainability metrics and green building basics in the various business sectors. In October of 2023, with recognizing the abrupt changes in real estate market, Kerry established Premier RE Consultants. Consumers always have questions about real estate, before during and after they buy sell or invest. It is usually a main topic of conversation at family gatherings. Her goal was to have a platform for consumers to be able to learn from experts before, during and after they buy, invest or sell property. Most people want answers before they contact a Realtor© to purchase or sell a property. Kerry has been married to her husband Bob for 34 years. Her son Neil, an accomplished musician and daughter in-law Kim live in Maryland. Kerry loves to pretend she is still at Woodstock. Yes, she WAS there. She enjoys writing, water aerobics, recreational reading, studying interior design and "tries" to play golf when there is time.
