    Help Wanted

Have you ever found yourself struggling with a problem and feeling like there’s no way out? Maybe you feel overwhelmed, alone, or lost. As Christians, we often believe that we should be able to handle everything on our own, relying on our faith to see us through. But the truth is, sometimes we need help from others to truly soar.

In this first chapter, we will explore the power of asking for help and reaching for help in correlation to being released to soar. We’ll delve into biblical teachings that encourage us to seek out the support of others when we need it, and how this can help us achieve our goals and reach our full potential.

We’ll discover the many benefits of seeking help from a Christian perspective and learn how to overcome any shame or embarrassment that may hold us back from asking for the support we need. Whether you’re struggling with a personal problem, a difficult relationship, or a challenging situation at work or school, this eBook will provide you with the tools and guidance you need to overcome your obstacles and reach for the sky.

The journey to freedom and soaring begins with asking for help and reaching out to others. This chapter will explore the importance of transparency, humility, and changing our friends, environment, and mindset. By admitting our weaknesses and seeking support from others, we can overcome obstacles and grow in faith.

So, if you’re ready to release yourself from the limitations that are holding you back and soar to new heights in your personal and spiritual life, let’s dive in!

    Ask for Help

In the Bible, we Christians are encouraged to ask for help when we need it, both from God and from other believers. For example, James 5:13-16 says, Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Asking for help is an act of humility and recognition that one cannot handle everything on their own. It is a manifestation of faith in God and an acknowledgment of our dependence on Him. We believe that God wants us to help one another and that asking for help is a way to fulfill this commandment.

Asking for help also means being willing to receive it with gratitude and humility. We, Christians, believe that God can use others to bless us and that by receiving help from others, we are also giving them an opportunity to serve and show God’s love. Overall, asking for help is a fundamental aspect of our faith and a way to deepen our relationship with God and others.

    Transparency

In today’s world, it can be easy to hide behind a facade of perfection, especially when it comes to our faith. We may feel pressure to present a polished image of ourselves and our relationship with God, but this can actually hinder our spiritual growth and connection with others.

Transparency, on the other hand, involves honesty, vulnerability, and authenticity. It means being real about our struggles, doubts, and imperfections, and allowing others to see the messy parts of our lives. This may seem scary at first, but the benefits of transparency far outweigh the risks.

Transparency is important because it is closely related to honesty and integrity, which are fundamental values of the faith. The Bible teaches that lying to oneself or others is a sin and can lead to spiritual and emotional harm. Transparency reflects the values of truthfulness and integrity, which are central to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Christians are called to be transparent in their relationships with others, to speak truthfully, and to avoid deceit and manipulation.

One example of the importance of transparency in the Bible can
