Hi there, I am a mental health specialist who has spent 25 years in the social and community health sector supporting individuals and families. I have delivered many psycho-educative programs to primary and secondary schools and have created tailored youth programs for schools. I am delighted to be able to follow my passion for creating children's books that explore important values as children grow and learn. My professional background is in health science, forensic psychiatry and clinical practice. I have utilised this valuable experience and knowledge and shared it within my books. My mother was always the best storyteller and would make stories up from scratch when I was a small girl. I like to think that she has instilled the gift of storytelling in me. Whilst I still privately practice as a clinical supervisor, I create and write my books to fulfil my passion. I find great reward in the creativity side of it and enjoy the entire process.
