Three French Men

About this ebook
On the third day of Christmas, three French men bump into each other on their way to pay a surprise visit to their girlfriends in a tiny English village. It's a long, tiring journey for each of them - gentle Goth Adrien, boho Matisse and uber-rich Jules. It's not helped by the weather taking a turn for the worse, but worst of all is when they discover that they all seem to be in love with the same girl. But which is she - Izzy, Anna or Lou? And which of the three men will she choose?
This is a fun and festive short story in the Twelve Wordplays of Christmas series.

Adrien stretched and yawned. Finally, twenty-two hours after setting off from his home city of Toulouse, the red Gloxbus coach he was on pulled into Victoria, London. It had been a nightmare journey on a packed, stuffy vehicle, made even worse by his being over two metres tall. Trying to fold himself up into that foot-room-deprived seat hadn’t been easy. He’d also ended up in the seat opposite the WC, so for the entire journey had been disturbed by the door being constantly opened and slammed shut, and for the last portion of it by a strengthening and increasingly unpleasant miasma that slithered up the stairwell and enveloped him.
But beggars can’t be choosers, and as a Masters student on a very small grant he couldn’t afford any other mode of transport for such a long journey. And besides, he was almost there now. He just needed to negotiate the Underground to Liverpool Street Station and then get a train, preferably the right one, to Manningchester, and another from there
