About this ebook
Tim Leonard traded his old life in North Carolina for college in New York City, and that meant leaving behind his best friend Theo Cohen, along with all of the unspoken feelings that had built up between them in high school. Leo had to leave small-town life in his dust, even if that meant losing his crush.
Now Leo is back in town, lured home by a high school reunion and more than a little by the desire to see Theo again. He hasn’t heard from his old friend in five years, but the reunion may be their chance to reconnect. That is, of course, if Theo has been thinking about Leo for the past five years, too.

I spent far longer than I would ever willingly admit to another person, fiddling with my tie in the mirror of the hotel room. Was it too tight? Too loose? Was the knot too big, or too small? What was I even thinking, packing a green tie in the first place? It looked horrible against my skin.
Finally, when the clocked ticked over from you’re going to be late to you might as well not even go at all, I snarled at my reflection, yanked the tie from around my throat, and undid my top button. The final look was possibly a little too rakish for a high school reunion, but what the hell. It wasn’t like I ever wore a tie in real life anyway.
I tossed the tie onto the dresser, shoved my wallet and phone into my pocket, and stormed from the hotel room before I could talk myself out of leaving entirely. I’d dragged myself back to this town, after all, back to the place I once swore I’d never go back to. I couldn’t let my sacrifice be in vain.
