About this ebook
Hell was well, hell. A place of torment, so when his mate decided they were going to be celebrating Christmas, Lucifer shuddered. The season grated against his skin and nothing would change how he viewed it.
Fate, or destiny, had other plans though.

Chapter One
Lucifer raised a dark eyebrow when a demon bowed then hurried on its way. It wasn’t the obeisance that caught his attention, that was normal. It was the silver, shimmering strand draped around its neck which achieved that particular feat. Where in all his realm had the bloody thing come from? The question circled his brain as with his hands clasped behind his back he resumed his walk, pausing occasionally to check new arrivals were being taken to the correct level for their eternal punishment to begin.
Since the battle with Michael and his forces things had returned to some level of normality – whatever that was in hell. Something a voice in the back of his mind advised him to enjoy while it lasted. Pushing the pessimistic voice aside, he stopped to lecture a low level demon on hell’s etiquette regarding the transfer of a new soul then continued on his way to the part of his realm he and Kelsey called home. She was the light easing the darkness swirling around him, her presence drawing him like a willing moth to a soft flame, one whose touch never burned but warmed.
As he stepped through the arched doorway two small demons barreled past him, their hurried bows nearly missed as they vanished from sight.
Luc? Is that you?
A smile pulled at his lips as she stepped into view. His Kelsey, his angel, his mate. She made his existence bearable and her love helped him see that maybe his realm wasn’t as dark as it once had been. Is there something you need?
Yes. I need help getting the rooms ready for our guests.
Luc’s stomach dropped. Guests? What guests?
Oh, didn’t I tell you? I’ve invited Gray, Agenta, Sebastian and Shiriana to spend Christmas with us.
What the actual hell? Well there went his hopes of a peaceful time spent only with his mate. His brain, which up to that moment had been on pause, kicked into gear. Wait, what? Kelsey, Hell doesn’t celebrate Christmas. We don’t celebrate any holidays. This is a place of torment and punishment, not joy.
That may be, but this year we are celebrating it.
He suppressed the groan wanting to slip free at her enthusiasm. His realm was, in his opinion at least, about to birth a new level. One where Christmas and all its garishness played on a continuous loop. Kelsey,
he said, rubbing at his temples to try and stave off his growing headache. "While I will try, for you my love,
