1967年 獲得美國科羅拉多州立大學物理化學碩士

1970年 獲得加州大學柏克萊分校物理化學博士

1970-1971年 任教台灣清華大學

1975-1996年 紐約IBM研究中心工作

2003-2006年 任教台灣長庚大學
