So. What is this place called Holly House, anyway?

Lounging in the passenger seat of a smoothly cruising silver cast Cadillac, Helena Jacobs graced the vehicle's driver, longtime crony Jada Jenkins, with what her teenage daughter might deem a major side-eye.

Knowing her good friend's propensity for wild Girls' Night Out destinations--which, as of late, had included excursions to everywhere from a bowling alley for nudists to a male strip club that made the night spot featured in the film Magic Mike look like the set of The Sound of Music--she knew full well that she probably did not want to know the complete and all-inclusive answer to this question. Ah, but what the hell? She thought she'd ask.

And when Jada, a slender redhead dressed that evening in a vivid–was that the word, Helena pondered?--slinky minidress pinned her with her trademark mischievous grin, her curiosity morphed swiftly to terror.

Now Jada, I demand to know as to where you are taking me--right this moment! she insisted, pointing an accusing finger in her friend's direction. As the wife of a senator here in Bane City, I must maintain a proper sense of decorum at all times!

Jada rolled her eyes.

It is precisely because you're shackled to that awful wretch, Sen. Leon Jacobs, that I must take you to Holly House! she insisted. You well know that he cheats on you, Girl, at every available opportunity. It's time you had your own fun.

Issuing a loud, firm sniff in response to these last words, Helena shifted in her seat as she pulled the fabrics of her azure silk dress tighter across the curves of her lush, full-figured form.

Jada, I well know that that man of mine should be listed in the next edition of the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's first living heart, brain and soul donor, she admitted, rolling her eyes heavenward. "And the minute that Mister leaves office, I have every intention of leaving him. For now, however, I have a duty to the people of Bane City. Christmas is only one month away, and the charity that my husband and I oversee--Mistletoe Hearts--is set to stage its final major fund-raiser tomorrow night--only three weeks' away from our big toy distribution at the domestic violence shelter downtown.
