The Stranger - Dávid Attila
Rediscovering the Solar System
- Well, where are you?
- At the second sentence.
- And how much do you need?
- Minimum two thousand five hundred letters. That's about a typed page.
- Dude, you're weak. Pull it in! What should you write about anyway?
- As you can see from the title: about the rediscovery of the solar system.
- What do you mean by re
?
- That we discovered it once, and conquer it the second time.
- Ccc.
- What, you don't like it?
- I think it's unnecessary to conquer. Good anywhere, but best at home. An old cliché, but true. Why bother conquering other planets when we have our own here? Just a waste of time, energy and money.
- Just think about the discovery of the old continents: how many new customs and foods it brought.
- Oh sure. And the extinction of the indigenous population. Or if not, the enslavement of the indigenous population.
- There are always victims.
- Well, this is also an orbital cliché. There is no problem as long as we are the conquerors. But what about in reverse? If someones wanted to conquer us?
- So far there is no such danger.
- Nana. Some have seen UFOs. There may be sentient beings in the solar system outside of us.
- According to scientists, the chances are small. Do not be afraid.
- Just like that, in between: how many letters are you at?
- There are already more than one thousand and one hundred letters. Almost half done.
- Weak, very weak. By the way - not to interfere, but if you've already put your mind to writing, and on such a topic, then - write about the fact that we have already sent several probes to several planets, although only one of these planets seems to be viable
so far.
- Here, I wrote about it. You can be happy now. Anyway, one is better than none. For now, it is enough if we can create colonies on a single planet. Over time, we can completely or partially transform the terrain to suit our own needs and resettle part of our population. We have overpopulation here anyway.
- On the one hand, I am worried about ourselves, what awaits us in the more or less unknown
