This book helps people who are stuck waiting for their prayers to be answered. The Bible says, "It is the Fathers good pleasure to give you the kingdom" (Luke 12:32). This book is about receiving what you prayed for and how it happens. You will be introduced to the three steps of unconditional receiving that Dr. Joyce has created for you to easily join her and the many others who have shared their stories of unconditional receiving.

Dr. Joyce Hutchinson Craft holds bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees as well as certification as a spiritual practitioner. She attended Folk High School in Jamaica, West Indies, which had teachings centered around the school motto, "With God, all things are possible." It is the keystone to her life and her work. She blends education, life experience, and the Science of Mind to teach others how to attain their highest good through spiritual philosophy. Her work as an author and spiritual practitioner includes teaching and lecturing.

There are many synonyms for God, such as Infinite Spirit , Father , Father-Mother God , and Universal Mind . For the sake of simplicity and readability, in this book, I used Infinite Spirit , Mind , and God interchangeably because they are powerful yet simple to internalize. This is an energy that is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent (everywhere present, all-knowing, and all-powerful). You may mentally substitute whatever name for God that is most dear and most comfortable for you.

Also, when discussing God, I have used the third person neutral form It. This in no way implies that I am referring to God as an object. This powerful energy cannot be contained within a gendered pronoun, such as he and she or him and her. I believe God's love is for everyone and is a power for good.

Spiritual Mind Treatment is a form of affirmative prayer also called Scientific Prayer Treatment because this practice is based on scientific principles. Since both terms are equal and interchangeable, I am comfortable using the term Scientific Prayer Treatment.

This affirmative method of prayer was developed by Dr. Ernest Holmes (1887–1960), the founder of the Science of Mind. He defined Scientific Prayer Treatment as the time, process and method necessary to the changing of our thought. Treatment is clearing the thought of negation, of doubt and fear and causing it to perceive the ever-presence of God. With this treatment, we do not beg or beseech God for the good we choose. Instead, we align ourselves with the principles, declare what we are seeking, and allow God to create what we ask for and bring it into our experience.

I have received permission to share the real-life demonstrations and testimonials contained in this book. Although I did not change any details, in order to honor their privacy, I have used the first and last initials of people's names in the demonstrations and testimonials.
