Memoirs Of The Girl Of My Dreams - Victoria Gasparro
Introduction/
Description
Growing into her own skin, this is a true tale of an ordinary girl, navigating the trials and tribulations of life. Along the way, she is faced with the inevitable clichés of friendships, love and family matters. The girl of everyone’s dreams manages to find herself at the epicenter of multiple nightmares. It is in those trying moments of despair when her survival instincts take over, relentlessly storming in an emotional and psychological fury. One prominent theme remains consistent throughout. Survival. Her optimistic nature and intriguing personality effortlessly station at the center of attention. Whether it’s good or bad, she never fails to steal the show. Yet, even through it all, she still manages to sustain a humble and down-to-earth demeanor.
In this modern-day Wizard of Oz, behold the tale of a girl on a quest to remind the world that there is so much more to who she is than what meets the eye. On her journey, she is met by a myriad of life tribulations. Each event, some strategic and some coincidental, yet all the same, is significant. Each event will eventually shape her morals, reinforce her beliefs, and solidify her aspirations.
By the end of this book, you too, will exit saying, She is the Girl Of My Dreams,
but the key moral, is that she will realize that it is she who is truly the girl of her dreams.

My head supported by a fluffy pillow, my body tucked inside a cozy dry-cleaned comforter, I continued to vividly escape the drabs of the nicotine-coated walls and the twin-sized bed I shared with my mother, which doubled as a couch in our living room.
Captivated by the imaginary wanderlust chatter of the opal-colored shapes while they dangled from the ceiling, only to be interrupted by the toxic fumes of second-hand smoke. At such a frail age, I could not have fathomed my dream turned into a manuscript. My life is a testament that dreams do eventually come true. No matter how grandiose or minor, keep your dream alive because one day, it will be. Friends could come over; it would be so much fun, like a playdate. As a child, that dream never once materialized but I made them come true in other forms later in my life. Wait for it.
Classmates easily gravitated towards me in school since I was friendly, but I was always very skeptical and kept most at arm’s length. I always valued my personal space, even when I was so young. I didn’t have the nicest clothes. I wasn’t the smartest
