Introduction
This book will show you how to dictate successfully on an iPad and iPhone. It will even show you how to write a book using dictation on the iPad. I have written three books using my iPad. You can find these books at jamesnuttallphd.com. This book has two focuses. Firstly, how to set up and utilize dictation, which I also refer to as voice typing. Secondly, this guide shows how to dictate larger projects such as a book.
In this book, I will present some options and tips for completing your book. One of the best ways to complete your book is by dictating it. So, I will spend a good deal of time explaining how to dictate your book on an iPad using Apple’s dictation system. When you speak your book, the writing goes easier. Many authors indicate that speaking their book is a major productivity tool for them. This book will familiarize you with the steps of how to dictate your book.
I am very familiar with the iPhone and iPad since I have a neuromuscular disease, called Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM). IBM prevents me from using a physical keyboard and a regular computer. So I live my waking moments on the iPad and iPhone. Additionally, I use dictation to put down all
