Foreword
Susan moved to Ely in her 70’s and was inspired by her surroundings to write this collection of poems. Although written late in life they display a freshness and spontaneity of the new life Susan had chosen for herself. A freshness and spontaneity of pleasures newly discovered and of thoughts and feelings re-discovered. New beginnings and reflections on the past.
