Situation 1
Person A: Sie sind mit Freunden im Kino. Sie sind rechtzeitig gekommen und haben einen guten Platz. Der Film fängt gerade an, und da kommt im letzten Moment Person B und setzt sich genau vor Sie, so dass Sie nichts mehr sehen können . . .
Person B: Sie kommen zu spät ins Kino, doch zum Glűck finden Sie noch genau einen Platz. Sie setzen sich gerade leise hin, als Person A sich lautstark zu beschweren beginnt . . .
Person A: You are in the movie theatre with your friends. You came on time and got nice seats. The movie is just about to start, when in the very last moment Person B arrives and takes a seat in front of you. Now you cannnot see anything anymore . . .
Person B: You are arriving too late at the movie theatre, but luckily you find just exactly the one seat. You quitely sit down, when Person A starts loudly complaining about you . . .
Situation 2
Person A: Sie möchten Ihren Motorradfűhrerschein machen und gehen zu einer Fahrschule. Leider denkt der Fahrlehrer, dass Sie dazu nicht geeignet sind . . .
Person B: Sie sind ein erfahrener Fahrlehrer und arbeiten schon viele Jahre fűr eine Fahrschule. Sie haben im Laufe der Jahre eine gute Menschenkenntnis erworben. Und da kommt Person A zu Ihnen . . .
Person A: You would like to get your driver’s licence for motorcycle und you go to a driving school. Unfortunately the driving teacher thinks that you are not the right person to do so . . .
Person B: You are an experienced driving teacher and you work at the driving school for many years. During all those years you acquired a good ability to judge character. And now you are facing Person A . . .
Situation 3
Person A: Sie sitzen im Konzertsaal in der Oper. Es ist still, das Konzert beginnt. Es darf nicht photographiert werden. Da kommt noch schnell ein Besucher, Person B, und setzt sich neben Sie. Er holt zuerst seine Kamera raus und nicht genug, raschelt er ständig in einer Tűte . . .
Person B: Sie sind in letzter Minute noch ins Konzert gekommen. Sie sollen fűr die Zeitung einen Bericht űber das Konzert schreiben, finden aber Ihren Notizblock nicht . . .
Person A: You are in the concert hall of the opera building. It is quiet, the concert is about to start. Suddendly another person arrives, Person B, and takes a seat right next to you. First he unpacks his camera, but not enough, he makes rustling noise with a plastic bag . . .
Person B: You arrived in the very last minute at the concert. You are supposed to write an article about the concert for the local press, but you simply cannot find your
