Let me be clear: I want to talk during the movie. I’d love to talk during the movie. I’m sure I have a lot of fun insights and jokes to keep the good times rolling. Heck, it’s like having your own director’s commentary, right on the couch. What could be better?

You know what I don’t want? Anyone to talk to me during a movie, ever. That, I believe, is the very core of this discussion. Everyone wants to be the one who talks; no one wants to be the one being talked at. And absolutely no one wants to be stuck next to two people having a full-on chinwag.
