Seek and Ye shall Find

My hosts were of such magnitude

I sat as beggar at their feet

They reasoned in exactitude

I ne’er could hope to meet

I wondered at their vast extensions

In logic structures based on premise

I did not know this nurture of pretensions

How could I, in ignorance this surmise

In youthful growth I questioned all

Was chastised, this was sacrilege

And endlessly it did me appal

Why the favoured had such privilege

This prerogative of a hierarchy

Did not sustain a credence

It smote me as an anarchy

And patent of such incidence

My soul in some unquenchable thirst

Was cast to search unholy dearth

That I may grasp as if the first

Why I was blessed
