Unbeknownst to them, however, a group of rebels, known as the Resistance, had learned of their scheme. Among these rebels was a brilliant scientist named Li Mei, a direct descendant of the legendary Mao Zedong.

Li Mei had always been inspired by her ancestor's principles of social justice and equality. With the Chrono-Relic in their possession, the Extremum's plan was within reach, but Li Mei and the Resistance were equally determined to stop them.
