Burning Candlelight's
Ember in Ashes
Little Benny, little Benny, with books scattered around one by one, in the attic dreams. In candlelight, embers burn away. He finds himself reading away. In those clouds of gold in a giant that slays, Jack must quick Jack must be wise down, down he went with a sack full of gold and wine. To his surprise, he finds some Drunken Knights, and a battle begins with a crooked older man in the magic of the night!
In the town of Maryland, time stood still. The clock tower in the town's center had stopped at the stroke of midnight. Although time outside Maryland continued, it was not the case for the townsfolk who had lived there since the Middle ages. For the residents, things were just as they had been for many moons though they did not seem to notice.
Each night began with the light of a single candle, its ember light illuminating the pages of the ancient book that held the history of fairy tales from a time long forgotten.
Though time was at a standstill, a light lay waiting to illuminate color back into the people. If you can believe it, you can see it. The past was ending, and history was beginning to be rewritten. Bedtime stories can unlock the happiness deep within the hearts of humankind.
The gift of candlelight began to spark life back into this old gray town. It was bringing true magic in the shape of imagination.
There it waited in the corner of every room and the tiny cracks between the floorboards. Do you dare
see what lies on the other side of the locked door?
Likewise, children's dreams were filled with stories found in books they read. The lives of the adults were much more gloomy. Most things the townsfolk did were troublesome and did not make them very happy. Despite this, they lacked much hope, even though the children brought some happiness in their dull lives.
Nevertheless, their face remained gray and melancholy. Over the years, the colors in Maryland had faded with their joy.
The people of Maryland would wonder about the outside world. However, the Gothic walls surrounding the town
denied them this deep desire.
Imagination spread magic that caused the adults to find themselves
too involved in the meaningless tasks of daily living even to want to care about or even like the world around them. However, this was not the case for the children.
The walls could not penetrate their sleeping minds, which held an even stronger power that encouraged them to see the proper knowledge.
Imaginary creatures wandered into their dreams. They fought dragons in dungeons and towers. They met many
companions on their traveling. They have saved princesses or princes. Inside their hearts grew the most accurate form of imagination, a magic that could only be touched inside the soul of a child.
In their awoken moments, the power of their dreams fueled them. The imagination they gained from their sleep helped them carry out their daily chores with a smile that shined bright. With a bit of imagination, all time can be the best of times. Examples of this could be seen when they played as a maiden princess or prince while cleaning the house and became a knight in shining armor riding inward with a cart full of bread for the poor. Their lives reflected memories from the realm of their precious dreams.
Like many mysteries, this story begins in an attic. An attic that can only be found through a hidden trap door; inside it lies a key to
unlock the truth of the living stories, which pages lie in the ancient books. You must ask yourself, what is it you desire most?
Here in this small town of Maryland, you will find the truth in what you are looking for. The hope is to seek the answer deep within your sleeping mind.
If you can believe it, you can see it. The past is about the end,
and a new history begins to be rewritten. Bedtime stories can unlock the happiness deep within the hearts of humanity. The gift of candlelight is about to spark life back into this old gray town.
It will bring true magic in the shape of imagination. There it waits in the corner of every room, and the tiny cracks between the walls. Do you dare see what lies on the other side of the locked door?
Deep in the tombs, there lays a prophecy written in silver ink.
On one truest night, William finds himself among a beautiful sight of books scattered amongst the creaky wooden planks of the floorboards of the attic space. He glanced around him with an inner joy in what he had discovered. In the center of the room lay a book on a pedestal with a candle at its side. Instantly this caught his eye. With his sweaty, clinging hands, he picked it up. Deep in his mind, he asked why this book was bound in with a locking buckle?
William began to hear whispers coming from the book. He then
listened to the click of the book. He held it to his ear, the lock unclasping. To his surprise, the book flew open. He was then
surrounded by sparkling fairy dust. As the dust began to cover his skin, something strange started happening. He began to feel his soul separating from his body. You see, the book opening created a
